What we collect
From the consultation form: the name, the telephone number and the message you type. Nothing else is collected and nothing is pre filled.
If you message us on WhatsApp: your WhatsApp display name, your telephone number and the content of the conversation.
If you allow analytics cookies: page views, approximate country, browser and device type, and a random identifier. This is statistical and is not linked to your enquiry.
Health information
The treatment you ask about can reveal information about your health. This is a special category of personal data and we treat it accordingly.
Please send only what is needed to answer your question. Do not send medical reports, diagnoses or photographs through the website form. Our team will tell you how to share those securely once you are in contact with us.
Why we process it and on what basis
To answer your enquiry and prepare a treatment plan and quotation. The basis is your explicit consent, given when you submit the form.
To arrange treatment, travel and accommodation if you decide to go ahead. The basis is the performance of the contract between us.
To keep records required of a licensed health tourism facilitator. The basis is our legal obligation under Turkish health tourism regulation.
Who sees it
Our own consultation team.
The contracted clinic or hospital that will assess your case. We share only what the medical team needs.
Hotels, transfer companies and airlines, only if you proceed with a booking, and only the details that booking requires.
WhatsApp, operated by Meta Platforms Ireland Limited, carries the message if you contact us that way. We do not control how WhatsApp itself processes message metadata.
We never sell your data and we never pass it to advertisers.
Where it goes
Your data is processed in Türkiye. If you are in the European Economic Area, this is a transfer outside the EEA. We rely on your explicit consent for the enquiry stage and on contractual necessity once a booking is made.
How long we keep it
Enquiries that do not lead to treatment are deleted after twelve months.
Records of completed treatment journeys are kept for ten years, which is the retention period that Turkish law requires of us.
Analytics data is kept for fourteen months.
Your rights
You can ask what we hold about you, ask for a copy, ask for a correction, ask for deletion, withdraw your consent at any time, and object to processing.
Write to info@healthyandsportytravel.com. We answer within thirty days. If you are not satisfied, you may complain to the Turkish Personal Data Protection Authority, or to your own national supervisory authority if you are in the European Economic Area.
Security
This website is served over an encrypted connection. Access to enquiry records is restricted to the staff who need it. We review these measures regularly.
